We are just starting a complete kitchen remodel in Maple Grove MN. At this project we will be removing existing kitchen soffits, wall paper, vinyl flooring, carpet, kitchen cabinetry, existing lights, brick fireplace hearth and mantel. After all of this we will be installing Hickory cabinets, Appalachian Oak hardwood floors, low voltage lighting, repair ceilings with a knockdown texture and lots more. Come watch this project through completion as we post new pictures and comments. At this project we completely gutted this cabin down to the studs and foundation. We removed all of the siding, roofing, drywall, cabinetry, plumbing, electrical, insulation, exterior deck and everything else. While remodeling the existing structure we added a new front foyer and four season porch to the rear of the home. Prior to starting we applied and were accepted for 2 variances. One to allow us to build closer to the street and one for building closer to the Blue Lake. This renovation got alot of extras to include: ceramic tile, spray foam insulation, new roofing, custom maple cabinetry, solid interior doors and much much more. Please take a look at the pictures to see the transformation. This porch project was unique in that we were only contracted to build the shell of this four season porch. The customer wanted us to do the heavy work so that he could finish the interior over the summer months. We put in a 5 course block foundation, insulated that with 2 inch rigid foam, framed the structure, installed maintenance free vinyl siding and install the roofing shingles. Take a look and see how the project progressed. Read the rest of this entry »
Here we were hired to give their kitchen and master bath a makeover. In the kitchen we removed their existing countertops and replace them with solid granite, a new under mount kitchen sink, installed some new lighting and refinished all of the existing oak hardwood floors. We added a touch of stain to the hardwood floors to remove the ever so familiar golden oak look.
In the master bathroom suite we removed all of the existing ceramic tile on the floor, whirlpool, shower walls and floor, countertops and fixtures. Finishing it with new ceramic wainscot, floor, shower walls and floor. Finishing the vanities are solid marble vanity tops, new plumbing fixtures and lighting fixtures. Check out the pictures below. In this home we were brought in to give this not so old home an updated look. We kept their existing kitchen perimeter cabinets and replaced the small rectangular island with an over sized two tiered island. We removed all of the existing flooring which included carpet and vinyl throughout the kitchen, great room and foyer. Replacing these areas with natural solid three quarter oak hardwood floors. Some of the final touches included granite countertops and a ceramic tile back splash.  Check out the progress pictures as we transform this kitchen/great room. Read the rest of this entry »
In this kitchen remodel we are completely gutting all of the existing kitchen cabinetry, vinyl flooring, lighting, countertops & appliances. We are also opening up the main bearing wall adding a larger walk through and a pass through with a breakfast bar. The customer has chosen maple cabinetry with a dark stain color, granite countertops and natural stone back splash. We also are upgrading there current garage entrance door with a new six panel steel insulated, fire rated, self closing door. The entire kitchen, dinette and family room with be getting a high end touch with solid oak hardwood flooring.
